The trees are alive with the sound of music

Yes they are.  Back home in the U.S. most birds go to sleep and stop singing once it gets dark.   There are a few who are night singers but not many.  I guess if that happened here in England  then they would hardly ever get a chance to sing in the winter.  Ha ha.  But really – recently I had to do an early, early morning run with Buddy (for him anyway – he likes to sleep in) because I had to take the family into work/school and it was very dark at 6 a.m.  (and it doesn’t get light until 8 a.m. now) and I heard about four different bird songs.  Even though it was dark out they were singing away – and I believe beginning the day by lifting up their voices in praise to God.  I should start so early.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise Him all creatures here below, praise him above ye heavenly host, praise Father (or mother depending on your preference), Son and Holy Ghost (so say the old words and we never did change them to Holy Spirit – I wonder why not?).  Happy Singing, Kim
