From the Creation to the Creator – is a place to be reminded of the Celtic idea that there are two books of Holy Writ: one is the written word in what we call the Holy Bible and the second is the Book of Creation or nature. The book of Creation doesn’t need any special reading skills – all people of any age can connect to it. Creation is the ultimate visio divina – you look at it and it somehow takes you closer to the Divine; it isn’t the Divine, but it reminds you of the one who created nature and in that we are inspired and connected to the Holy One. Gazing at Creation also takes away all the ‘religious’ words and barriers we have to people of another Christian denomination, faith tradition, or those with no claim to faith – we all speak the language of Creation.
Come join us as a pilgrim on this holy journey. Walk softly upon the Earth; love her and take care of her and heal her. And I know we will find healing and love for ourselves and for one another in the process. Isn’t God amazing that way?
